Hopefully CWS Omaha will correct things in the next few days to make this Final Season at Rosenblatt Stadium one to remember and not one to leave a terrible taste in fans mouths.   Knowing that the true intent of CWS Omaha when they began in the 1950's was for the fans to have a wonderful experience, not to keep the fans awake all night, waiting in line to get tickets in a manner that they have never done before

This how we used to get tickets very simply, Maybe they will return to the more civilized way of doing business.

CWS Tickets This page is designed for all those who don’t have tickets but still want to attend a game. First and Foremost, Rosenblatt Stadium and the Baseball College World Series is no different than any other sporting event. There are Ticket Scalpers on and off Rosenblatt property. I beg you DO NOT SELL THEM ANYTHING! CWS sells General Admission booklets in advance for $70.00 for 10 tickets. General admission tickets at Rosenblatt sell for $10.00. General admission is the entire outfield, holds about 5000 and is on a first come first serve basis. You may use these GA tickets to upgrade to a better seat. Every day, CWS sells approx 1200 seat starting at 10am at the Rosenblatt Box Offices. The line usually starts forming around 8am depending on the popularity of the game, and the line stretches toward the Henry Doorly Zoo and around the east side of the stadium.

I have found from my experiences, this line is where you will meet some fantastic people from all over this great land of ours, I still keep in contact with many people I have met in line. Many times, Season Ticket holders will show up on game day and sell their tickets for face value. It is very easy to pick these season ticket holders out of the crowd. The Scalpers are very Obvious and easy to spot. If you pay more than $30.00 per ticket in the baseline, and $25.00 anywhere else, your being had by a scalper. Lets commit to putting the scalpers out of business for the final season in 2010 at Rosenblatt Stadium, Please DO NOT buy or sell anything to or from the ticket scalpers. My disclaimer is that if Nebraska advances to the College World Series, about all you can expect is Chaios, everything I have written above will be changed or modified to accomidate the population of Nebraska who will show up to get tickets for the game.
